The purpose of the World Conference is to develop a thinking paradigm to help the human race to face problems that have never been encountered in the past. New Publication by Rudi Jansma, PhD, IOUF Board of Governors

Dr. Jansma's new book is a two volume study in which fundamental concepts concerning our views of nature are discussed on a deep level from the philosophical backgrounds of various cultures the world over, ancient and modern.

 
Dr. Gandhi to Speak on World Peace

altDr. Sohan L. Gandhi, one of our most notable professors will be presenting workshops and lectures during the month of September in Krakow, Poland, Mexico City, Mexico and New York City. Dr. Gandhi will speak on the Jain Way to Peace, Harmony, and Social Excellence during the September 6 to the 8 meeting of the Community of San Egidio in Krakow, Poland. On September 9 Dr. Gandhi will present a workshop and lecture on Universal Peace and Disarmament at a United Nation conference in Mexico City. On September 14, he will speak on universal peace at the UN General Assembly Conference in New York City.
The President, faculty, and Board of Governors of the Intercultural Open University Foundation are very honored to share with the world at large Dr. Gandhi's dedication to peace and non-violence. Dr. Gandhi serves on the Intercultural Open University Foundation Board of Governors and as Professor of Sociology.

The Intercultural Open University Foundation presented a M. A. Degree in Economics to Michael Curtis, Board Member of the Henry George School of Economics in New York City.
The President and Board of Governors of the IOU Foundation were honored to award this graduate degree to Mr. Curtis for the decades of social change, teaching, and his dedication to helping others embrace the basic principles of economic development.

Cynthia JacksonIn addition to our new membership in EFQUEL, IOU Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Cynthia L. Jackson as Vice-President for Quality Assurance and Social Responsibility. Dr. Jackson has a long and distinguished career in Higher Education including the areas of educational policy, higher education administration, performance appraisal, life-long learning programs, strategic planning and socially relevant learning.
