London, February 2013, Dr. Gulab Kothari, CEO of Patrika Group and International Advisor to Intercultural Open University Foundation gave the keynote address to the London School of Economics (LSE) India Week Power of Ideas Session. This trade seminar was organized to discuss the strengthening ties between Europe and India and the future of trade links between these two regions. This is one of the most prestigious public event programs in the world. Distinguished speakers in the past have included Nelson Mandela, Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy, Dalai Lama, Kofi Anan, and Dmitry Medvedev.

Moortidevi Award Function Photo-Award Momento

Dr. Gulab Kothari, Intercultural Open University Foundation Scholar and International Advisor, was conferred the 24th Moorthidevi Award on December 24, 2012. The Award is an annual literary award in India presented by the Bharatiya Jnanpith Organization for a work which emphasizes Indian philosophy and culture. Dr. Kothari was given the Award for his book, Main hi Radha, Main hi Krishna.

On December 28, 2012, Sohan L. Gandhi, PhD was formally awarded his Dual PhD Degree in Social Science from the Universidad Azteca and Universidad Central de Nicaragua by Dr. Gulab Kothari, International Advisor for Intercultural Open University Foundation (IOUF). Dr. Gandhi serves on the Board of Governors for IOUF and is a core faculty member. He is currently the Honorary President of the ANNUVRAT Global Organization, the Transnational Center for Peace and Non-violent Action.

Dr. Gandhi recently completed an Asian university lecture tour on peace and non-violence. The President, Board of Governors, staff and faculty of IOUF are very proud and honored for Dr. Gandhi’s academic achievements and his dedication to world peace.

The President, Board of Governors, Faculty, and Staff of Intercultural Open University Foundation (IOUF) are extremely pleased to announce that the 2012 IOUF Peace Award recipient is Dr. Muneo Yoshikawa. Dr. Yoshikawa is an author, professor, researcher, world-peace advocate, and consultant in the field of intercultural communication and human development.
