Dr. Bremley Lyngdoh – Guardian of the Climate

dr. bremley lyngdohDr. Bremley Lyngdoh, an Intercultural Open University Foundation alumnus and founder of Worldview Impact Foundation, has been recently featured in Joomag magazine for his invaluable contribution towards climate awareness. Worldview Impact Foundation supports programs that protect the environment. Dr. Lyngdoh is an IOUF Fellow who obtained his dual doctorate degree with its partners Universidad Central de Nicaragua and Universidad Azteca. According to Dr. Lyngdoh, by 2020 the only businesses thriving will be those that have incorporated social, economic, and environmental bottom-lines. The world needs to monitor greenhouse gas emissions more closely by adopting strong legislation.

IOUF Pays Tribute to Fay A.C. Hakemulder-De Jonge
FayHakemulderIntercultural Open University Foundation (IOUF) was established in 1981 by Jan R. Hakemulder and his wife Fay A. C. De Jonge.  They both served as education advisors with UNESCO in Africa.  In 2008 Jan died and the President, Board of Governors, Faculty, and staff are saddened again to announce the death of Fay on December 11, 2015.
Jan and Fay both devoted their lives to establishing an affordable distributive education program for learners worldwide.  Their endowment has provided the support to lead IOUF into a consortium with Universidad Azteca and Universidad Central de Nicaragua to offer accredited graduate degrees and continued support for worldwide social change programs.

NaamloosDr. John M. Toothman, IOUF Board of Governors, and Roxanne K. Toothman, Special Assistant to the President of IOUF, made a donation on behalf of Intercultural Open University Foundation, Universidad Azteca, and Universidad Central de Nicaragua to the St. Augustine Art Association. They attended the “First Peoples Exhibit” by artist, Theodore Morris, who based his paintings on archaeological evidence of 18th century original inhabitants from Florida.

GandhiphotoDr. Sohan Lal Gandhi, President of Anuvrat Global Organization (ANUBIS) and an esteemed member of the Board of Governors of Intercultural Open University Foundation (IOUF), recently published his new book Acharya Mahapragya: A Journey to Wisdom. Acharya Mahapragya: A Journey to Wisdom traces his growth from little Nathmal, who would fly into a rage and refuse to eat, to his asceticism, which earned him the name of Mahapragya - the very embodiment of wisdom and inner peace. It offers insights into his thoughts on science and spirituality, and the philosophy of anekanta.
