Dr. John M. Toothman, IOUF Board of Governors, was bestowed the rank and title of Professor Emeritus of Psychology from Goldey-Beacom College (GBC). Dr. Toothman was the first professor to ever receive such an honor from GBC.  In addition, he received his second Excellence in Teaching Award.  Dr. Gary Wirt, President of GBC noted Dr. Toothman’s distinguished academic career and his remarkable dedication and intellectual commitment to his students spanning his 53 years in higher education.

 

In attendance was his wife, Roxanne K. Toothman, Special Assistant to the President of IOUF, and his daughter, Dr. Lisa Albright, GBC Psychology Faculty.
