IOU Foundation announces a donation to the COSA BUENA FOUNDATION  in support of a youth-led publishing project in Oaxaca focused on traditional medicinal plants.

The project aims to help Indigenous youth from rural communities in Oaxaca complete, publish, and distribute a book documenting ancestral knowledge of medicinal plants native to the region. In addition, the project will help preserve traditional healing practices while empowering young people to become researchers, writers, and cultural stewards within their communities.

Community members are expected to gather later this year for a public launch event celebrating the young authors and the elders who contributed their wisdom.

IOU Foundation commends Cosa Buena for this initiative that combines education, cultural preservation, and community development.
