Dr. Sandra Hurlong, PhD continues to serve on the Human DHS Global Advisory Board

The Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies Foundation (HumanDHS) is a prestigious global and transdisciplinary network of concerned academicians and practitioners who are continuously working to reduce the destructive disrespect and humiliating practices all over the world. 

The IOU Foundation feels proud to share with our learners that our President Dr. Sandra Hurlong has been serving on the global advisory board of the HumanDHS for past 20 years. She has been continuously working to eliminate the abusive practices and inculcate sustainable development practices around the globe.

Dr. Hurlong is a renowned educator and scholar in learner centered adult education and is at the forefront of innovation in e-learning in higher education. Dr. Hurlong has devoted her academic career to implementing non-traditional approaches to learning; she is passionate about the Foundation’s unique self-directed mentored education experience geared to social change. Her expertise and reputation at the helm of the IOU Foundation led to its consortium with the Universidad Azteca International program and Universidad Central de Nicaragua.
