Planting trees provides families with more than just food. It provides income, empowerment, unity, leadership, education, and even saves lives. IOUF is honored to make a contribution toward the noble cause of planting trees by our Alumnus, Lisa Shaffner Albright, PhD, NCC, LPCMH who is the 2019 Mrs. Delaware Earth and Dual Degree graduate of the inter university partnership with the Universidad Azteca and Central University of Nicaragua. Trees for the Future, an organization that seeks to end poverty, hunger, and deforestation is a cause that Dr. Albright has directed her help in fundraising and advocacy. IOU Foundation and its consortium partners Universidad Central de Nicaragua and Universidad Azteca are dedicated to supporting its graduates as they continue to restore hope in humanity.
