On June 29, 2012, Dr. Bremley Lyngdoh was awarded his PhD in Sustainable Development at the Graduation Ceremony of the Universidad Central de Nicaragua in Managua, Nicaragua. Dr. Lyngdoh was honored by being selected to give a commencement address to the graduating class of 2012.

Dr. Lisa Shaffner Albright Presents Short Feature Docudrama

poster Unlived DreamsOn May 29, 2012, Dr. Lisa Shaffner Albright presented her first  Short Feature Docudrama entitled Unlived Dreams to an enthusiastic audience at the Hilton Ballroom in Wilmington, Delaware (USA).

As a form of art therapy, Unlived Dreams exemplifies Dr. Albright's creative passion for cinematography by writing, producing, directing, costuming, and editing of the entire film.Unlived Dreams shadows the ebb and flow of a love between two adolescents who never evolve to complete their dreams together while living very different lives.

ButterflyThe ESD program of study at IOUF is designed for individuals who, as social change practitioners, are grappling with the challenges of different global settings. The Program’s mission is to educate leaders who will help transform nonprofits, social enterprises, international NGOs, educational systems, businesses, civic associations, government, social service agencies, art and cultural institutions, foundations, advocacy and volunteer organizations.  The world needs new thinking and new approaches to address long-term challenges for real and sustainable social change.
 
IOUF’s Connection to the Preakness
altOn May 19, 2012, Dr. John M. Toothman, Board of Governors for Intercultural Open University Foundation (IOUF) and Roxanne K. Toothman, Assistant to the President, IOUF, were invited guests at The President of the United Arab Emirates Cup, a special event race that was held on the same day as the Preakness in Baltimore, Maryland (USA).
