I was able to use my social activist work with the Dalit population in India as part of my dissertation research.
The Intercultural Open University Foundation allowed me the opportunity to study in the field of human rights.  My professors, one Dutch and one American, could not have been more supportive and encouraging.  It was such a pleasure to work with them, and my life is better because of my experience with this institution.
