IOUF Social Change advocate, Mike Curtis of Arden Delaware

MikeIOU Foundation graduate Mike Curtis (M.A. 2011)campaigns to end world poverty on the soapbox, by writing articles and teaching, and by serving on the Board of the Henry George School of Social Science in NY, http://www.henrygeorgeschool.org.

He has devoted his life to disseminating the economic theories of Henry George, an American Political Economist and social reformer and author of Progress and Poverty written in 1879. George inspired the economic philosophy known as Georgism, whose main tenet is that people should own what they create, but that everything found in nature, most importantly land, belongs equally to all humanity. He believed that the tax upon land values is the most just and equal of all taxes and that were a tax on land values universally implemented, poverty in the world would end.
IOUF and our international partners, the Universidad Azteca and the Universidad Central de Nicaragua are supportive of our graduates as they work to create worldwide social change.
